I am so frustrated! I placed an order with bulkactives.com and paid extra to have it shipped the fastest way. It is now 2 wks later and no sign of the products. I have never purchased anything from them before and heard about them here on this forum. Does anybody know where they are located? Anyone else waiting like me ?? |

Hmmm, it's been mentioned on another board that I look at and no one mentioned anything like that. I would contact them tomorrow, especially if you paid the extra for the fast delivery. When I pay the extra like that, I expect it in a few days. |

I have been a customer ofwww.BulkActives.com for a long time. Shipping has never been fast, but it is coming from a looooong way. I have ALWAYS gotten my orders and have never been disappointed with the products. |

I jus placed my first order with them few days ago... so i've no idea their credibility... However, they do seem quite responsible as they emailed me the very next day saying the HA powder was out of stock and they were expecting new stock coming in the next few day...
i HOPE they are ok??! (they better be!!!) |

Ok..I emailed them, and "John" responded. They are in Taiwan and express mail takes 7-10 days.
and the weather prevented him from sending the order on time. Actually, buying anything from China right now is a little scary since product purity has become such an issue in the US. I don't know if I would have ordered from them knowing this. Has anyone ordered Ferulic Acid from them before? |

Err... Taiwan is not part of China, although some Chinese government officials may beg to differ LOL
I agree, I'm always wary of food and skincare products from China, but Taiwan is somewhat more "advanced", if that's the right word, in terms of manufacturing standards and quality control than mainland China. Having said that, this site quite possibly may source its products from China.
I've never ordered from bulkactives, but I hope you get your order soon! |

moutaingirl, I've never ordered from bulkactives.com, but a few whose judgement I trust [and Candy's one of them! ] do and they've never been disappointed. I saw a similar question on Skin Interactive website to the effect that shipping has been delayed due to the hurricanes.
I too am very hesitant to purchase anything sourced in China and was really disappointed to hear the majority of vit. C used in supplements comes from China. I try very hard not to buy anything from that country, but it's it sure ain't easy! I've compromised somewhat in my purchase of silk products because I KNOW silk and pearl is often source from China. Now I'm emailing the manufacturers for supplements I take to see if they source from China as well.
I'd like to start seeing voluntary disclaimers or full disclosure on skincare and supplements regarding whether any of their ingredients come from China so I can make better buying decisions. |

Mountaingirl, ahhh, sorry, wasn’t meaning to imply that. It’s not so much a question of geography as political boundaries and, like I mentioned, most Chinese government officials would swear black and blue that Taiwan was part of China, although the Taiwanese government would undoubtedly disagree |

Ya know...I am so uninformed and ignorant about the important stuff like the political conditions in other countries. Ask me about skincare and I can answer any question. Sheesh, I'm a mess. Thanks for teaching me a thing or two! |
