Hi everybody, I just wanted to say that I lurk in this forum often and love all the great info you guys have to offer!
I've read rave reviews about Philosophy's Hope and a Prayer (99.8% topical vit c powder that you mix in with your sunblock of moisturizer each morning). The ingredients are the following: ascorbic acid, panthenol, zinc pca, copper pca, camellia oleifera leaf juice, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, arginine, cysteine, aloe barbadensis leaf juice.
Do you think I could reproduce the results of this product if I mixed pure vit c crystals with my moisturizer or sunblock? I know I could just make a serum, but I'd rather just mix it in with my moisturizer every morning.
I apologize if this has been talked about before, but I had no luck with the search function. |

Actually, I'd be interested in knowing the answer to this question... does anyone out there know if pure L-Ascorbic Acid can be mixed in with products? |

I love that product. Please post if someone comes up with a homemade version or has tried something. Their micro dermabrasion set is wonderful for my skin; it uses the same Vitamin C stuff.
