Been trying to find replacement for my HG Shu Light oil which has been discontinued. Tried Kesalan Patharan's but something in it irritated my skin, might've been the fragrance. Now trying Fancl's and hoping for the best. Was gonna try DHC but apparently it either causes breakouts or is too drying? |

Try Decleor's Cleansing Oil. It's the best cleansing oil I've tried so far. |

Was looking at Decleor's too but I'm also very sensitive and there were some ingredients in there that raised a red flag. Did anyone have a reaction to Decleor's cleansing oil? |

Doesn't Shu has a replacement for the discontinued one?
I know they have the pink one for oily skin called Cleansing Oil Fresh. Have you looked at that one? |

You must give pure jojoba oil a try if you suffer from other cleansing oil. |

If I were on a desert island and could have only ONE oil to take with me, it'd be jojoba oil hands down. Pure jojoba oil is much more versatile [and less expensive] than any commercial cleansing oil. Not only can I use it as a first step in PM cleansing to remove makeup and help dissolve any sebum buildup, but I can use it on hair in and after shower body oil as well. |

I love Laventine's cleansing oil for oily/combo skin. It's not at all drying and is reasonably priced. |

DHC cleansing oil is my favorite. It can remove all make up on my face but not oily my face too. It will change to milky when touched the water and won't left oily on face.
I'm allergic to the Shu oil, but safe for DHC and Fancl. |

I adored the Shu line but now I love using straight coconut oil.
It removes makeup, doesn't dry my skin and I haven't had a breakout in 6 months (except for twice when i didn't use the coconut oil).
... I'm oily T-zone, 45 years old. |

Pure Jojoba oil is another way for the one who can't use DHC, Fancl or Shu. |

FaithTruth - I use Ann Marie Borlind for Combination Skin. It's great for oily skin because the products are mattifying without drying out your skin.
I have sensitive skin and I've tried everything, including DH which made me break out, but AMB has really worked well for me, balancing my skin and helping to clear up my breakouts.
Most health food stores like Whole Foods usually have samples of this line. That's how I fell in love with it.
I also take 15 mg of zinc 4 times a day, which really helps control oil production. |

I like Dermalogica PreCleanse. No reactions, fuss-free cleanser which easily removes sunscreen and makeup. |

Since my DHC cleansing oil is about gone....I'm interested in possibly purchasing the jojoba oil. I guess this comes in just a plain bottle? Do you pour into a pump bottle or leave it in it's original container? Thanks! |

Hey there, you got me interested in this line, but I checked and there are only cleansing gels. Is that the cleanser you are talking about? The thing is I really need a cleansing oil to take off makeup and sunscreen. A cleansing gel wouldn't be enough?

Sorry I wasn't more clear on that. I know you're looking for cleansing oil but I just thought I would mention the AMB line cause it's really great for oil control.
I use Skin Trip coconut bar soap to remove my makeup but when I used a cleansing oil, jojoba was really great. |

I have oily skin and I tried Fancl one before, it was ok for my skin, the texture of it is quite light in my opinion. |

I like Laventine cleansing oil (formerly called La Vitton). They make a formmula for normal/dry (I use that one) but also one for oily/combo skin. I've been very pleased and have kept repurchasing. |

Dancar, I can get a 4 oz. bottle of Pure Jojoba oil at Trader Joe's for $7 USD. I leave it in it's original container and just squeeze out a nickle to quarter size amount in the palm of my clean hands. This is an extremely stable oil/wax that does not need to be refrigerated and will easily survive the humidify and rigors of your shower.
HTH,
