Im going to be spending a few days in New York and will be on a rampage shoring up US-only products!! I have found a few things I am interested in from the forum.. can I get help as in exactly which store to go to to find them? Also throw in suggestions of your raves so i can get them all while I'm there!! Anything from skin care to beauty lines to shops to check out, clothes, shoes, bags, everything possible on a shopping spree!!
Here's a start :
1. Paves Hair Serum
2. Sally Hansen Lip Inflation
3. Ardell LAsh Accelerator
Thanks everyone! I cant wait |

I actually was just there for the first time a little while ago. I'm from Canada, and picked up some Neutrogena concealer for my sis (she swears by the stuff), and on a whim I decided to try the skin-clearing foundation. While I doubt its doing anything to clear my skin, it does a great job of minimizing my pores (as well as the Pout and Cargo samples I was previously using, and so much cheaper!). |

Hihi, sadly didnt get much input on this. I read in some other thread the Paves Hair serum is no longer available in Walgreens but someone said later they were being re-package hence off the shelves. Do anyone know of the status of it now? Also, are Walgreens easily located in New York? If soeone knows a specific location, can you advise please? I am only in New YOrk for a few days so dont want to waste time trawling streets for it! Thanks!! |

There are lots of Walgreens in NYC. Go to their website and punch in the zipcode of where you will be.

Hi Mojocat!
There aren't nearly as many Walgreen's as there are Duane Reade's; you can get the Lip Inflation there, but not the Ardell, and I'm not sure about the Paves stuff. There's a store called Ricky's (http://rickysnyc.com) that might have it.
If you're into makeup, you should go to the MAC Pro store on 5th Ave between 21st and 22nd, I think it's near the R and W subway lines. There's only a few in the world, and they have really cool products that you can't get in the regular stores. If you go, it's kind of above a Verizon store and there are no signs for it. You have to sign in at the desk, but it's open to the public. |
