i recently started using epidermxII under the guidance of this forum when i asked what to do about really bad acne scarring all over my face... after using up a tester pot i was fairly happy with the results- it wasnt a WOW result but they seem to be fading faster, cleaner, and healthier than they were under other products i'd tried using (JB apple peel, neutrogena acne fading mask, etc) so i ordered a fullsize.
the jury is still out on the chrysalyx tho- seemed to give me some bumps, i havent figured out yet whether or not it is working for my skin.

after testing the epidermxII and having fairly good results with it (more importantly- seeing it hadnt damaged my skin) im having my mom try it out. though slightly acne-prone she always had nice skin. unfortunately in the last few years stress related to my grandparents (one of whom is very ill, the other whom passed away recently) has had a very bad effect on her skin- she is looking lined and in a short period of time has gotten wrinkles that weren't there before. i gave her the pamphlet that came with my order to read and she's curious about the naturdermx in particular for her wrinkles, but is really skeptical, especially since this is a woman who has used estee lauder, shiseido, etc "known" brands all her life and she's a bit scared because this is a small company that is "unknown" to her. so i'm wondering, how is epidermx/chrysalyx/naturdermx working out for those of you who are older, in your 50s or so?? i am hoping to help my mom get her nice skin back Smile

I tried this line and had hoped it would work as it is such a simple routine but unfortunately, all the products caused me to break out, even the Epidermx.
I stopped using them, waited until my skin was clear again and then just introduced the Epidermx and within a couple of days, I had breakouts.
It is such an individual thing as many have had good results. Perhaps your mom could just start with some samples to see how she likes the line initially.

For wrinkles, I should think a retinol product would be more effective. Can you get the Avene range where you live? Avene Eluage cream is recommended. It contains retinaldehyde which is stronger than retinol plus hyaluronic acid fragments to help plump up dry skin. You can order online from some websites likewww.tubotica.com,www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com.

Retrinal cream by Avene also contains retinaldehyde. These products would be more effective than drugstore brands or even cosmetic counter brands that state they contain retinol because the concentrations are low in them.

You can check up information onwww.aveneusa.com.

actually my mom has been using some avene products my sister got for her in france (i use diacneal occasionally)- i dont think theyve made a noticeable difference on her. the diacneal worked really well for me at first, but then it seemed like it plateaued or stopped working...
