Hi gals,

I'm a MAC NC42ish and am trying to decide amongst the Noir collection. Belle Noir looks great but summer is waning. Has anybody tried Sin Noir? What about Coco? I think that the Rouge Noir will look off on me...Help!

I'm not dark-skinned myself, but if you can wear warmish colors, Coco Noir would be lovely. It's not really a brick red, but a nice, warm but slightly muted red. Very elegant. Sadly, a bit much for my 50 plus pale-toned face, but I bet on a darker skin tone it would be sensational.

I was the instigator for a topic on the Products list about "Julie Hewitt for over 50s" [Hewitt was misspelled, bad, bad influence from avalange who originally misspelled it Razz ], so you wouldn't find it unless you also spelled that way instead of correctly which Hewett, but in any case I talked about dryness of the lipsticks, but I have medium-light skin and the Film Noir looks really good on me. I also wear Kiki for staying at home as it's very natural-looking on me. Or if I'm just running around the neighborhood. So this is a start for you, I would think. Two coats of Film Noir looks a little dark, but still very nice. Film Noir with Kiki under it is also nice. Good luck.

Hi agent 00 cat- i'm a little darker than you are - see julie's foundation in zazu and i use the oona noir - beautiful + sheer. I am buying sin noir next - it is very similar to Nars fire down below and Mac Diva. BTW Julies lipsticks don't contain parabens. HTH.

I'm having buyers' indecision... and keep looking at Rouge Noir. Has anybody tried it? Would it look too much on dark skin?

TIA
