I am wondering why Skin Medica does not tell you what the percentage of Vit C is, in their product packaging. I just bought some samples online, and no where on there is any indicator of it being 10%, 15% or whatever. (It only seems to be in their promo ads.) I also have a blue tube of Skin Medica's Vit C Serum (in a silicone type base) and there is nothing on that one either. Why wouldn't they put it on there Is that odd? I want to know what I'm getting! |

Hi mountaingirl,
That's a bummer. I hope you find the answer to this soon. I'm afraid I don't know as I've never used it. But I'm curious where you got the samples from or who if it's on ebay. I've heard lots of good things about Skinmedica. And also, Vivier. I am currently using a Vivier 10% sample from EDS and really like it - glides smoothly and doesn't smell (I use JM c-esta and HATE the smell)!

Yes, I did buy the Skin Medica Sample Packs ("Not for Resale")on Ebay...but I want to know exactly what the % is, since I want to "up" my percentage base to about 20%. I think its a bit suspicious that they don't print it on the package ANYWHERE! Why wouldn't they?!?! |

The SkinMedia C Serum contains 10% ascorbic acid and 5% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. When I was first considering using this C serum I emailed SkinMedica and got the percentages from them. I have a very high opinion of this product. It is not just a well done formula but it is also cosmetically elegant and a very nice product to use. |
