Hi ladies, I've done a lot of searching on the internet, searching for sources of organic soy wax flakes and floral wax suitable for skincare. I've found a few sources of soywax for candles, but is that the same as soy wax for skincare? It's important for me that they be certified organic ingredients. Any help appreciated. |

thanks for the great idea dm, I checked that site but it doesn't look like the jojoba wax is certified organic. But, if I can't find the organic soy wax, I'll look at organic jojoba wax as an alternate.
Hopeful, Mountainroseherbs is one of my favorite places! But they only carry beeswax.
Thank you both for your help ladies! I have since found one place that offers organic beeswax, but not soy wax. I guess I was looking at soy wax because of the additional benefits for skin, but if need be I'll go with beeswax or jojoba wax. |

Hey db, I'd like to start making my own body lotions and creams and found some lovely recipes in the Woman's Book of Healing Herbs. Once I can get a nice lotion recipe worked out, then I'll experiment to create a DIY sunblock for hands and arms with physical ingredients only.
I've tried so many organic, physical sunblocks and they're horrible! [Badger Balm is the worst!] I'd like to come up with something that doesn't leave a white film on hands and arms for hours after application |
