I have been using a zinc cream I bought from the pharmacy (pharmacy brand with 30% zinc) to help heal my post-blemishes marks.
However the cream is way too dry for my liking and I have to layer on some other creams on top, which I don't want to do since I am trying to simplify my routine.
Has anyone added zinc powder before to a cream? Was it easy? Does applying zinc like this work?
Help! |

I have not -- I have wondered about z-cote.
I think your choices or zinc sulfate or zinc gluconate. Are there others? I will be very intersted in your results. Zinc is vital to my skin I think. It's used in ISClinical. |

I think mine says zinc oxide. There is no listing of the other ingredients at all.
I don't know if it is effective or not, since I have been tweaking my skin routine constantly. I added Dr Mist and Manuka honey since I figure out I can't stop myself from breaking out but maybe I can try minimise the effects when I do.
The zinc cream = thick white cream, which I spot treat on where I have pimples or picked it ( ) and it doesn't cause new break outs and it seems to help in reducing the redness. |
