Hi i've had problems with my skin for like four years and tried everythin and eventually went to a dermitologist, i have acne and red uneven skin on my cheeks. Basically he looked at me for 3mins and gave me 'retin A' and sent me on my way. Do you guys know anythin about this product? will it help with the uneven skin thing? |

Retin A is a proven product for acne and anti-aging. Did your dermatologist give you any more information on what was causing the uneven, red skin tone? Retin A is a staple in my routine for anti-aging. Just be sure to follow the instructions the doctor gave to you and start with a low strength product until your skin adjusts. This is a very powerful product and will cause peeling, redness and dry skin if not used carefully. |

My doc told me it would definatly cause red skin and peelin and that i should just grin and bare, and that the minimum amount of time i should be on it would be four months. The red uneven skin was acne scarring he suggested. How long have you been on it? do you feel it works? |

Most people use it long term, it definitely works with anti-aging benefits as a bonus. It's worth sticking with and maybe you can add new products to address other issues after you have been using it a little while and see how your skin progresses. |
