I'm just wondering if anyone else does this, or if it's just me. I'll see something that I WANTWANTWANT but know I don't need. So I won't order it right away, just look at it online for awhile, until I'll finally just order it because I'm tired of thinking about wanting it! I usually have one of these every month. At the beginning of the year it was a BE set of glimmers on QVC.com that I checked everyday to see if it came off backorder, then it was a Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist, and now... some Urban Decay lip products! They always come up with the cutest things. They have a new lip stain and a new gloss that I really really want. And, you know, if I had a Sephora by me, I'd just go buy them, but since I have to order it online I suppose it's easier to abstain!
So, girls, what's your newest Want but Don't Need? |

is clinical stuff. I have looked at them for months, then always back down. I have so many face products I don't NEED them, but I WANT them because the posts on here make me feel like I am missing out on a great product. I finally got some samples, soooo, not out much money if my sensitive face rejects them.
(But god knows whats going to happen if I like them, they will be crossed off the I want but don't need list and be on the I have list and I will be looking at the next in line on the list of I want but don't need) Its a never ending cycle. |

I have to agree with ariesxtreme....everything I buy!
I know that I have a "passion" for skin care products. (Doesn't that sound more positive, and less neurotic, than "obsession?") The only product that I believe I truly need is sunscreen.
My product "want list" is rather long, but I try to refrain from going overboard and purchasing several products, with various actives all at once. And thanks to this forum, and from learning from everyone here, I'm more wise in what I purchase. I have greater knowledge about skin, skincare, actives, and what types of products benefit my skin. I no longer have a bathroom full of partially used products. I do make myself use an entire product before I start a new one. I do alternate my routine and the products I use, but when I splurge on an serum, anti-aging treatment, etc I don't let myself purchase and use a new, similar type of product until I've used all of the current one. Same thing for eye creams, exfoliators, vitamin C serum, toners (when I use them.)
Right now, I really want the Juvena Juvedical Renewing Eye Serum I've been trying after receiving a sample in my last EDS order. Very nice. |

Good post! I have so many wants and very little needs (because I have so much already! ).
On my wish list (which means I'll probably buy them in the next month or so) is some IS Clinical serums, Yonka gel cleanser and another eye cream (havne't found it yet) that will get rid of my dark circles forever!
Shoot ... I had to go back and edit this because I forgot about the Jurlique Rose Silk Powder and the Decleor Ylang Ylang. |

You just described me to a T! Except that I think my "don't need this but want this now" fits happen more often |

Whew! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I still keep trying to think of reasons to order the Urban Decay stuff, like to treat myself for overcoming some hardship... And the only thing I can really think of is that some gall bladder tests I took came back okay this week. Do you think a healthy gall bladder is reason enough for two new lip products? |

Hi, I totally agree!! Probably about 20% of my products I really need, the other 80% I do not , lol!
I am the same way, have a wish list of items I want and most of the time I eventually give in, lol! |

I've looked at every line EDS offers and I could spend the rest of my life trying new products. Even if I find my HG for everything I could ever need, there's always something new to try. Of course $$$ is the limiting factor. Need to find a way to make a career out of this. Isn't the ideal career supposed to be something one is passionate about? |

Yes! I believe it is! I might go get my hearing tested and reward myself afterwards |

I probably don't Need the majority of the products that I have/want but what's the fun in that. It's the small things in life that make each day a little more fun...like waking up and feeling like you are pampering yourself by using a cream or wash that actually does it's job and smells great. My opinion is this: Taking care/pride in your appearance doesn't have to be considered vain, as long as it brightens up your day!
My grandmother told me she used to receive all these soaps and smelly good products as gifts, and she would keep the majority of them tucked away, or put them out only for guests, etc. Then she realized she wasn't getting to fufill their intended purpose and started 'spoiling' herself by using everything up. Nothing wrong with treating/pampering/caring for ourselves, ladies...often times no one else will!
