I used lactic acid last night on my face and my face feels so much smoother and tighter. The corners of my mouth are lifted as well.
I know it was not the bq or the cps because the change happened right after the lactic acid.
Is it okay to use this every week or every month?
thanks so much ![Cool](images/smiles/cool.gif) |

Hello!
I do a 40% Lactic Acid peel every 2 - 3 weeks. My skin handles it really well and I love how it just "freshens" my complexion. |

I think it really depends on the percentage and the sensitivity of your skin.
Lily - What product did you use and what does it say on the directions of this product? |

Lily, you might splash milk on your face every day then work up to yoghurt and see how you do. That should be safe for a start. |

Hi! I purchase my lactic (and enzyme kits/supplies from esthetically yours (regular before & afters for online orders). Click on the professional link and it will take you to the peels area. Note: I'm not a professional esthetician and never had problem ordering. I've been doing these peels for many years, but if you're new, I would suggest starting with the mildest strength. |

I also do a 40% lactic acid peel (from MakeupArtists.com) about 2X month. It really preps the face - smooth, glowing. Although I'm thinking about using some different peel types for a while - perfect complexion TCA complex. |

I've used the 40% lactic acid gel 2 times so far. With no problems. The second time I used my skin felt and looked tighter and the sides of mouth were lifted.
I do not know if its the baby quasar been using it for 2 weeks now. I only noticed the difference in skin after the lactic acid.
Could have been the bq for all i know.
Is it safe to use the lactic acid every week?
I bought mine from diannayvonne.com
The washing face with milk, do you use soap along with it or is this for rinsing face?
thanks |

hi lily38,
i'm not sure about washing afterwards with soap or not.. I've got rather oily skin so i normally just incorporate into my mask.. just add milk to my mask.. but i suppos if u've dry n sensitive skin or what.. it might not be a problem.. but i'd say that.. if u use it at night, always use a normal cleanser to clean ur face before using the milk.. and u can just milk for morning cleaning, since there's not much dirt on it anyway.. =) |

I've been using the Makeup Artists Choice 40% Lactic Acid peel regimen twice a week since the beginning of July, working up to leaving it on for the full 7 minutes. I have had good results from the hyperpigmentation I developed from liquid Nitrogen spot treatments from the dermo. My skin is smoother and clearer overall, but there has been no noticeable improvement on the age spots/large pores/acne scars. (I'm 47 and have oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin.)
I plan on ramping up with 30% glycolic acid peels when daylight savings time ends and I'll have less sun exposure on a daily basis. |
