some people in this forum seem to use a cleanser then dr hauschka cleansing cream. i have read rave reviews about dr H CC for removing blackheads, but isnt it too demanding to use a cleanser then use another cleanser everyday??? |

I actually like to use this as a mask, I massage into my skin using the 'press and roll' technique then leave it on for 10 mins, wash off and my skin looks vibrant and feels really clean. |

I absloutely love my Dr H routine. Have for years. I'm a big fan of the line. I use the Cleansing Cream in the AM and the Milk Cleanser in the PM. I've never used any other cleanser before or after using the CC or the MC for that matter. Seems pointless and unnecessary to me as well. Like Rosebud I also sometimes use the CC as a mask. I massage it on and leave it on for a few minutes and then wash off. My face always feels more toned after doing so, plus my pores look a lot better too. It's a great mini mask to do in between your other facial routines and is more gentle than using the clay mask which really draws out impurities (great mask BTW). All depends on your skin type I guess but I highly recommend it to all. I've been using the entire line including the comsetics for probably 5 years now, if not more, and have been extremely happy with it since day 1. |

Dr. H CC...i'm probably the only one here that didn't have the wow factor after using it.
I tried one tube of these about a year ago, from what i remember, i wasn't very impressed with the result... maybe i never done it correctly...hum....
thinking about giving it another try. |

at first i didnt really know what all the hype was about, but am now just finishing off the 1st tube and gotta say that somehow it does improve my skin, although it doesnt fade scars, prevent spots, remove deep blackheads BUT it does make my skin feel clean and right after claensing do see that my pores are more tight and closed, altho its back to normal again....but saying that i can see a difference in my skin so will continue to use this (ordered my 2nd tube ) |

yuki...you aren't the only one. This actually broke me out terribly and I used an entire tube in hopes that it would go away. It took over an additional month to get my skin back to normal.
The only way you'll find out if DHCC works for you is to give it a try. I followed the advice of EDSers (as Dr. H sometimes breaks you out for a short period, then it gets better) to hang with it but to no avail.
I'm just not meant for DHCC. I still would like to try Jurlique's cleansing cream and my ultimate lemming: Organic Pharmacy Flower Petal Cleanser and Mask which you use with the same method as Jurlique and DHCC.
So don't feel bad if it doesn't work for you
That said, I'm super happy it does work for others!!! I wish I was one of those |

Not at all. I use the Cleansing creme then a foaming face wash. I'm loving the Astara Blue Flame face wash. |

I absolutely agree with Wildflower - I love my Dr Hauschka routine. I mostly use the CC at night, sometimes in the am also if I feel my skin needs it. I do combine it with Decleor cleansing milk though, which I think is the best cleansing milk I have tried (Dr H clogged my pores unfortunately ). I remove my makeup with the Decleor CM first, and then follow with Dr H CC to really cleanse & remove impurities. |

I loved my Dr H CC at first - and have used it on and off for over 3 yrs. I am finding it less effective though than before. Perhaps my skin is getting used to it. I do have one gripe - I can't stand it when the little bits git into the corner of my eyes!! |

I don't have much luck with the DH CC. I had good result for the first few days, then I got some bumps developed on my face. After I stopped, the bumps were gone. I gave it another try and samething happened. |

My routine is generally Dr. H cleansing cream in the evening and Dr. H cleansing milk in the morning. The exception is that I almost always use the cream before I apply any of the masks. |

I was wondering about this too so I got a sample before actually buying it. Sephora is great about samples, if you have one near your home. |

I do the same thing, feels great, although I have to say it hasn't helped with my blackheads the way it seems to have helped many other forum members. |

It does break me out but not too serious. I do believe it's the purging effect. The girl at the counter actually suggest that I add 1-2 drops of Sage Bath in the Cleansing Cream to reduce spots. So, I ended up took home with another Dr.Hauschka product. |

I thought I read somewhere on the forum that the DHCC was similar to what you would use when doing the OCM, has anyone else heard that? |
|
|
|
|
Thu Sep 13, 2007 4:40 pm |
It's not really similar because with the DHCC you do the "press and roll" and don't really 'rub' your hands across your face. With OCM you rub and rub (gently though). |
