Hey
I want to get Permanent EyeLash Extension done.
I went to one parlor the lady there said it last for 12 weeks and cost is 120 and she told me that its not at harmful.
Just wanted to confirm has anybody got it done.
Is it harmful in any way for original eyelashes?
Are there any recommendation anything that i need to take care of for this may be specific product or anything else.
Please suggest ME and help me out!!

Thnx

I posted a thread on this before if you want to read more about it, but to answer your questions, I got it done. The first time lasted approximately 4 weeks with the first 2 weeks looking great, and the last 2 weeks, I had a lot of lashes falling or hanging drunkenly because the glue was losing its effect. The technician said I'd have to get a refill in 3 weeks, but I went after 4 weeks, so she had to refill more than she wanted to, and charged me more for refills. The first time cost me $150, and the refill was $50. I went to Thailand and got another refill done there. This time it was 3 weeks from the 1st refill. I came back and tried to get another refill when most of the lashes fell out, but this time she couldn't give me a refill because my original lashes had fallen along with my extensions. What I got left was too thin and sparse.

They all said it won't hurt your original lashes, but it surely hurt mine. I had to spend a lot of time regrowing them using the supergrowth lash conditioning serum. I simply don't think it's worth it. You looked great for about 2 weeks, and the rest of the time you looked funny. When you do the refill, you look good less than 2 weeks since the old lashes started to fall out shortly after you got a refill.

My sister and my mom first got their eyelash extentions in Jan 2007 and have been getting them refilled since. I can't remember how much they paid the first time they got it done but each refill (every 3-4 weeks like bkkgirl stated) costs about $30. They love their extentions but they're very careful and extra gentle with them. I never got them done because I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes and I'm just too careless in general (hehe) so I prefer to get mine permed instead.

From experience,it really depends on the therapist as with most beauty treatments to make sure that your real lashes aren't harmed. Each lash can only hold one lash and this is a time consuming process. The quality of the lashes is also important. Yes,they do look good but do lot's of research and make sure you see someone who has used that therapist before you decide.

Hey All,
Thnx so much for sharing your experience.
I think i'll better not take risk as i don't have very small lashes its just that i wanted to have longer ...but i think after reading all of ur experience I will not go for it.
