I just got an email from Clarisonic saying that my brush was recalled because of a fire hazard. Here is the website for anyone who wants to check on the recall status of their clarisonic.

I hadn't received an email from them about this, but when I entered the serial number of my unit, I was advised that I need to return my unit.

Hi, I am in Canada and phoned last week, I am also on the recall list.
They send you a brand new Clarisonic, since I am in Canada, they are sending out a new one with packaging to send back the old one with it.
I have had mine for years with no problems , but would not like to take any chances. |

Also, the letter I got said that the replacement will come with a new TWO year warranty.
