I saw a new mineral make-up suncreen (SPF20) on the NCN website. Has anybody tried this or know of a similar product? I have used tinted sunscreens with sheer coverage but this sounds nice. Matte finish and fairly high SPF. |

I like the colorescience one. I put it on top of my cream/chemical free sunscreen for added protection and coverage. I also like that it's water resistant. |

I also like the colorscience one. The key is just not to put on too much at once. I think it is a great product! |

Ditto on Colourescience. I have it in All Clear ... perfect for touchups during the day and easy to use. |

I also want to try the colorscience. Is it suitable for combo/oily skin with acne? |

I would like to get one of these before summer arrives; it would be perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. I hate reapplying sunscreen when I am just out and about during the day.
Does anybody know of any that could be picked up in a drugstore or department store (US)?

I have oily/acne prone skin and think its perfect for it! It doesn't clog your pores and can actually help tone down some of the shine. It has not caused me to break out. |

I have been using PUR MINERALS for about 3 or 4 years. I prefer the pressed version over the loose powder...both have an SPF of 15.
I have been super happy with this brand, but all you colourscience girls have me CURIOUS!!! |

I've used the Colorscience SPF 30. I like that it has a brush and is easy to carry around and reapply. I would not recommend the "clear" version because it shows up on your face. |

Hi, I'm looking at Colorescience--can anyone share if they use the "Fair Lady" or "Feather Light" or the "...Butter" color? I am just wondering if anyone can distinguish these three for me, they are the 3 lightest and a mish-mosh of all three looks like my coloring:
ivory with warm undertones but pink in cheeks. not "white" pale but too pale to wear any Chanel foundation and I think I'm "camelia" in Px...
Thanks for any responses! |

It might be worth considering that "Colorscience" products are high on the list containing nano or micronized ingredients about which a petition has been signed asking FDA to ban these ingredients until safety tests are completed, and it contains Bismuth Oxychloride which is a known skin irritant and it also contains silicone and a polymer. The micronized titanium dioxide and zinc oxide that they use is treated with Dimethicone/Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer which are silicones and a polymer.
This info was given to me by the knowledgeable ladies at the LHC.
SunCat, who has her own MMU company added this -
If you want to up the SPF of your mineral makeup you can add titanium dioxide and or zinc oxide to it. I would recommend using a mortar and pestle to blend it in very well. It will give your MMU more coverage and lighten the color depending on how much you add.
