Hi, im going on holiday in September and normally i have used my ordinary body sunscreen on my face aswell. But these tend to make me break out due to them being a bit greasy mixed with the heat.
Can anyone recommend a good facial sunscreen that i could use and also could anyone recommend an eye cream with sunscreen in it as i want to keep those wrinkles away?
Im 23 with combination skin
Thanks

I've been using the SunAway Dry Touch Sunscreen from Cellular Skin Rx lately, and it really provides a good and absolutely non-greasy canvas for makeup. My MMU never goes cakey over this one.
For non-chemical natural ones, I can recommend Lavera Sun Sensitive Anti-Age Sunmilk. |

I highly recommend Remergent SPF15 and SPF30. These are both very good sunscreens. |

I'm using the day cream from Principal Secret every day and it's not heavy. It has an SPF 15. You could also look at the sunblock from Proactiv if you have a lot of breakouts. I usually have a lot of breakouts, but the day cream isn't giving me any. Enjoy your trip! |

Can anyone recommend a sunscreen to use over my moisturiser every day that doesn't make my skin turn white. |

i was also looking for a facial sunscreen and while i love alba botanica's, they stung my eyes.
i came across mychelle sun shield spf 28 for face and on the label it said, will not sting eyes.
it's creamy and goes on white, then disappears and does not leave a white cast.
i'm asian and it doesn't make me look like a zombie. so if this thing doesn't make me break out, then i have a winner because it's unscented and i love the way it feels on my face.
it's available at health food stores or online at mychelleusa.com |

Well, I am using Nutragena 55spf... my skin is very sensitive.... but please ensure that you wait at least half hour before you expose yourself in the sun!

I would have thought that only some of the physical sunscreens would give you the white cast but the chemical sunscreens should not. If you are after a physical sunscreen then the Remergent SPF30 will not give a white cast. It will look a bit white when it is first applied but after about 5 minutes, any whiteness has gone. |

There is one sunscreen I can recommend with no hesitation: Anthelios XL by La Roche-Posay, a pharmaceutical brand. I use the 50+ UVA class ultra, because I have very sensitive/thin skin and heavy rosacea on top of that. It doesn't irritate my skin, or clog pores and it soothes the redness as well! It doesn't leave a white cast, as the cream melts into skin.
I've been using it for 4 years now, and I never had an allergic reaction, neither sunburn/sundamage (although, I have to say that I'm really careful with the sun). If I was stranded on a deserted island that would be the one product I'd want to have with me! |

If you can get Sofina, try their UV Cut Milk. SPF24, PA+++ and in a milky texture. I have been using them for years and none can replace them. |

It's crazy how sunblock/sunscreen is different on everyone.I'm 42 with combo. skin (T-zone oil) I had been searching for my HG ss since I had skin cancer 2 years ago. My Dr. sold me Total Block 65(i think that is the name) It smelled sooo bad! Blue Lizard was shiny. Kiss My Face 30 felt nice but just didn't work. Banana Boat Sun Wear Faces 30 left a slight white cast and felt heavy. Neutrogena 70 left a white cast also. SkinCenticals 30 made me break out. We were going to Mexico in July so I had to find something! After checking at MUA I went with Clarins UV Plus 40. I am vey happy with it. It is light, no cast, slight fragrance, good protection and no break outs. I didn't come home with brown spots on my face. In fact we were on the beach and I told my friend her face was getting red did she apply sunblock. She told me she won't use it on her face because it breaks her out. I made her try my Clarins and she loved it! So I shared. I brought 2 bottles because I purchased the double pack at Nordstroms for $55. It is rather expensive but with my history it is worth it. I don't wear foundation but sometimes use a little mineral makeup and it goes on fine over the Clarins. If you can try it on at a Clarins counter to see how it feels I would try it.Sometimes while I was on the beach in Mexico I did use the Banana Boat and Neutrogena 70 since while you're swimming in the ocean and pool everyone has sunblock face! Oh one more thing since my nose gets it the most I did purchase zinc oxide and of course it is as white as can be, I mixed a little mineral makeup with it and it did not look bad at all. Good Luck! |

I bought Kiss my face-face factor spf 30 occationally at May. So far I found it worked really well on me. I have oily skin, but this one never feels greasy. |

I know I am going back to this post again but I bought the remergent sun screen and I find that it leaves my skin very greasy.
Can anyone recommend a sunscreen that does not leave a greasy or white film on your face. I love all the other remergent creams but the sunscreen will not be one that I will purchase again.

sofina perfect uv never leaves any type of film on my face; sinks in quickly and leaves behind a beautiful powdery finish, my skin seems to love it! |

I recommend psf lotion sunscreen and LRP sunscreen. Both of them stable and protect UVA. |

I whole-heartedly recommend PSF SPF50 for facial use. It's fairly light, goes on relatively matte [although I dust silk/pearl primer powder on top], the whitish cast sinks in quickly and no clogged pores!
For eyecream with SFP15, I use Murad Essential C eyecream. Careful not to get into your eyes, however, it burns. |
_________________ 44 – combo/oily skin with a tendency towards clogged pores. Thanks to EDS, tweaked my skincare routine and normalized skin… no more breakouts. PSF, silk powder, Janson Beckett, Cellbone, NIA24 are staples. |

Demiro -
I too have same skin type - everything I tried burns and makes me red & blotchy. Have you ever tried the PSF sunscreen? I have samples but have not tried them. Where do you buy Anthelios XL by La Roche-Posay, a pharmaceutical brand. Thanks! |

amami,
I'm dying to try this sunscreen. Can you wash it off with your regular cleanser or do you have to use an OCM? I use PSF's gentle cleansing castile and absolutely love it, so I don't want to change that part of my routine. |

I'm in love with Nia 24. makes your skin a little white which I like. and had 5% pro-niacin which helps with tone, redness and past damage. I do see a difference in my skin and it's spf 30! |

I alternate between Skinceuticals Ultimate Defense SPF 30 for the titatium dioxide and Banana Boat Sun Wear SPF 30 (it's amazingly matte but is a chemical sunscreen)... The skinceuticals one is a little whitish but I like the idea of having a physical barrier. My next one will def. be one with mexoryl (probably Lancome) because apparently that's the superior UVA blocker. |
