I started a discussion group for thoughts, questions, ideas, tips and reviews of different facial exercises.
I don't know how much interest there is. I've had good results doing them but some people run into trouble. I'm hoping this new group will be a good place to gain information and evaluate the pros & cons..and hopefully get advice & hints to modify exercises for our individual needs.
Here's the link:

Funny you should post this. I am interested in facial exercise. There are pros and cons on them. Lets face it we have muscles in our face. Some people say more wrinkles will appear from exercise.
Would love to here the other members views on this topic.
I have done facial exercises on and off. In fact, one exercise I was doing gave me problems with TMJ. Worked that muscle too hard.
FlexEffect website looks very interesting. |

Hi I have Carole Maggio Facercise videos and book and Eva Fraser face excercise video. But I do worry that I am not doing them correctly and could make things worse. I would love to be shown how to do them the right way. Because I do believe in the principle of face excercise. |

I have the Eva Fraser video and one of those electric impulse masks that give you shocks
I guess the first thing to consider is that the face is different, the skin is attached to the muscles rather than by ligament to bone in the rest of the body.
Secondly, I think it would work in certain areas, the wrinkles round our eyes are from sun damage and squinting/smiling so the muscles crease up the skin. Now if you work the muscles above the eyebrow and jawline to stop things sagging I reckon that would work. |

Well, interest kind of waned and then fell away on the yahoo group.
I was thinking of closing it.
My experience with facial exercise has been good but my eye area has not improved.
If you post to the group at yahoo, maybe people will become interested again.
