I'm hunting for makeup brushes for detailed eye work. Can someone recommend me some good brushes? Thanks! |

Good Morning,
If you live in Canada - Quo is sold by Shoppers Drug Mart. Quo makes really nice brushes and they don't fall apart. Prices are very reasonable. |

| Lumiere cosmetics has a pre-buy brushes special and they have quite alot of different eye brushes. Plus dupes of MAC 187! |

Mid-20s Asian female (since I am not mature enough to be called a woman  ). Skin is combination with tendency to dryness around the cheeks and prone to blemishes. Naturally coarse black hair  . Lastly but most importantly, you need something purchased in Australia I will be happy to CP  :. |

| Red Earth makes great brushes. I was told they are made by the same manufacturer as Bobbi Brown brushes. I bought mine at Pharma Plus in Canada. |

| I have had my Jane Iredale brushes for 5 years and they are like new. EDS has a nice selection. MAC makes a nice brush also but I prefer JI. |

| My favorite make-up brushes are Bobbi Brown. I have all different sizes and shapes for eye make-up. They are a little expensive, but I just make sure to take good care of them and wash them every week. |

| I really like the Red Earth brushes as well and they are actually made by the same company as Bobbi Brown. These brushes are made with natural hair (pony, sable and cruelty free of course) so if your skin is very sensitive, you could actually have a reaction to them. Brushes with synthetic hair, such as Quo brushes, are deamed to be hypoallergenic. |

| I really like Smashbox brushes. Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada carries them and TSC has them sometimes too. |

| My favorite brushes are the Lumiere brushes also forever female's brushes on ebay. I like the vegan brushes with synthetic bristles, they are so soft and don't lose one hair. |

I like The Body Shop brushes very much! Although I don't know Bobbi Brown's and MAC's so I can't compare.

| I think MAC and Bodyshop have the best small brushes. Mac has more different kinds than Bodyshop but Bodyshop ones are cheaper. |

| I have some favourites from various lines. I find that you can't stick to one brand. Shape of the brush is most important and you can't find the perfect ones in just one brand. I like Dior, MAC, makeupforever and smashbox. |

| brushes from Lancome but they are not gentle and apply even (maybe because they are gifts). I've always heard BB has the best brushes. After checking with their prices, I have to wait till my MAC ones are fallen apart (wish they never will:) |

| I love MAC and NARS brushes, but both are a bit pricey. Lise Watier brushes are quite reasonable and good too. |
