What’s so special about antioxidants like the vitamin C found in grapes? Sounds like red grapes to me. But honestly, isn't chocolate a better answer to the description in the title of the post? |

I think raisins are generally made from white grapes, so to the extent that the health benefits are from red grape skins, then raisins wouldn't be the same. Also, raisins are made from seedless varieties, so any positive properties that leach from the seeds would also be absent compared to grape juice or wine. |

From my under the Cacao bean is the highest antioxidant you can get. I've been on the search for these little treasures. I'm hoping Whole Foods will have them when I travel there! |

Grapes are low on the glycemic index. From what I understand you should consume 2 servings of fruit a day. About 1 cup usually equals a serving.  |

Agree,
A good "diet" trick is to wash, dry and freeze grapes (seedless) and snack on them, being frozen they take forever to eat, yet satisfy that need to have some munchies when that craving hits  |

I went to the store tonight and purchased some grapes. I have been patiently waiting for cherries to come in season! I like to change up my fruits. There are so many tasty ones out there!  |

I agree I love so many different fruits and when a lot are in season it's great to make a really yummy fruit salad.  |
