Wow. That didn't take long. Pureology was my one true love in hair care. But then I read (on this forum actually - was it John who told us?) that L'Oreal had gotten hold of the line - and a lot of salons wouldn't carry it anymore, as once L'oreal got their hands on it, they'd change the ingredients. When I was in the mall the other day, I saw a salon that had a big display of Pureology so I went in to check it out. The first thing I noticed was that the bottles do not say 100% vegan any more on them - and when you look at the first few ingredients, they are unpronouceable....the second one is alcohol. I have an older liter bottle at home that is from the "old" Pureology and I'd love to do a comparison to the "new" Pureology.
Are there any other Pureology users out there who will now try other haircare lines due to this change or will you stick with it. I've tried Eufora and it's okay, and then tonight aI bought some products from a line called Thera-fuze, which is also sulfate-free. I'll report in after I've used it for a bit. They do smell good, that I know!

I used pureology before and I really liked it! I was harder to find for a while so I have switched to Bumble and Bumble which I really like now. Sometimes I use the Big Sexy hair one that deposits colour, helps keep the brassy tones away! I try to avoid all L'oreal products and all of the other big monopoly companies who mass product junk! |
