Question for those who make their own cleaning oil mix, do you add an emulsifier? I use to love DHC's but my skin became sensitive to it so I want to start making my own and trying to decide on if I should add an emulsifier. I'm rather sure I want to add one since I would like it to rinse clean.

I don't think that people who use OCM (oil cleansing method) add anything to the oils, so no emulsifiers.

I use a home made oil cleanser. Oil cleansers as opposed to oil PREcleansers do contain an emulsifier. I use cromollient at a 10% concentration and 90% mixed oils (I use jojoba, tamanu, and sea buckthorn). If you're not used to an oil cleanse, you apply the oil cleanser to dry skin-- I keep mine outside the shower door-- massage in well and then rinse off with water (I just get in the shower and rinse it that way). It should rinse clean. You can use another cleanser afterwards, but it's not necessary.
I get the cromollient from lotioncrafter, it's called Cromollient SCE. You can experiment with amount, 10% is standard but you can use more if you prefer.
