Hello,

I just got a question about apple cider vinegar. I've done a bit of research on it. And I've already ordered apple cider vinegar from Bragg's. i am just a bit worried before using it because I am planning to use it internally and externally.

Drinking apple cider vinegar with water everyday helps to remove toxin out of the body.

But I've heard that the process of removing toxin out of the body can cause acne breakout

that is when the toxin is getting removed out of the body, the pimples are getting pushed out at the same time.

Is this true? Can someone please correct me if I am wrong?

Thank you very much!!

I have been drinking Bragg's apple cider vinegar for some time now, and have never had a breakout from it. Also have friends who drink it with no problem.

Drinking vinegar is supposed to balance the pH balance of your body which would help with some kinds of breakouts. I feel that skin purging is a myth. I suppose if your body was having a hard time processing the released toxins through your kidney and liver the change in balance could cause a change in your skin but that is total conjecture.

I started drinking it for indigestion, and it does help. Didn't notice any other benefits, and I've never used it topically.

hey.. ya i've never experienced breakouts, either. perhaps speak with a naturopath about that? it could be pushing toxins out of your body, or your skin could be reacting to it.
