I had this little tinny wart like thing that is on the bottom tip-side of my nose for 5 years (which some say I'm a witch)... I was told not to pick at it or else it will grow and never go down leaving it more like a skin tone color bump... I do not think it is mole dont seems to be. sometime it appears pink. I was told to go to dermatologist to see what it because it can be dangerous... which I can not afford. I am worried of what this is because I remember it looked like it went down from a chemical peel but just came back the way it is and sort of deppresse about it. I find this very disapointing.
Can anybody think of the name of this skin condition... this would be very helpful for me |

Nyonan,
It is best to keep in mind that health is priceless.
Or rather 'Health is wealth'.
A professional would best be able to diagnose you and prescribe the correct method of treatment. While we here would love to help you, we cannot guarantee our answers would be correct. If you were told to go see a dermatologist because it could potentially be dangerous, I would advise you to go. You are your number one!

Thanks.
Not trying ask about being "diagnose you and prescribe the correct method of treatment," just wondering what people can figure out what might be so maybe I can look up some pic of the condition that can give me a clue. |

Not trying to alarm you but what you describe reminded me of this:

Have a look at the first two pics. Again, not trying to freak you out.
But, I will have to agree with miss_taken. You should definitely see a dermatologist, especially if it was recommended to you.
Do you have any pictures? Maybe those would be helpful, too. |

Blimey, that looks very like what I have on my nose also. Mind you, it's been there for at least 2 years now. I keep (sorry if it's TMI) picking at it until it goes down and heals, but it keeps on coming back.
As soon as it grows back to its normal size again (doesn't take long), I'm off to the doc's.
Hope all goes well with you, nyonan. I really think you should get yours checked out as soon as poss, too. |

I agree with the others, if it looks like that picture that was posted then you need to see a Dr, esp if it keeps growing back after you pick it off. |
