Hello, I was wondering if anyone else has really shiny skin on their nose. I find it so annoying because it is not the fact that my nose is oily, but the skin is just shiny so it apppears as if it is. Anybody know what to do about it? About the condition itself, not to cover it up. Thanks (ps. i realize that it could just be the way my skin is, and i cant change it but i can try right ) |

Sorry I can't help you, but if it makes you feel better I have the same problem. ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/rolleyes.gif) |

A little powder will reduce the shine on your nose. |

There are oil control serum or lotion in Sundari,Dermalogica,Phytomer...
And Jurlique rose or lavendar dust may help your nose less shiny. |

I use SunCat SunSet finishing veil on my nose to help it control the oil there and it works. |

I have a shiny nose too, specifically the bridge of the nose. It's not oil. Just very shiny.
Personally, it doesn't bother me. I guess because when my nose gets gross and rough, it's not shiny, so I associate the shiny with being clean and exfoliated. In terms of getting rid of it, I don't know if it's possible. Again, since it's not caused by oil, it really just seems to be a sign of glowing, healthy skin.
The shine is easily concealed with my regular foundation (MAC Studio Fix) or loose powder (T. Leclerc). |

Not sure if this helps, but some ideas are: mineral make up, pearl cream, and SAS t-zone serum (this is more for oil control). I find the mmu takes away most of the shine and keeps it away for the entire day. |
