Hi,
I so want to love decleor but I am just not sure... I got the rose oil and the ylang ylang oil and they both did nothing for me. So I am thinking about trying neroli oil but I am just not sure.. know what I mean? I have jojoba oil from Desert Essence and I am wondering if they do the same thing? thanks! |

I have been using neroli for a couple weeks now and I really do love it. Normally my combo skin would be dried out and totally broken out right now but I think due to the combo of the neroli and hydra floral cream my skin looks fresh and clear. Jojoba totally broke my skin out...it gave me major cystic acne. |

Mom2Busy2Boys, when you say it did nothing for your skin, I'm curious what you hoped or expected it would do? Just wondering! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I used neroli oil in winter, or at night at not that hot weather. They were great.
For jojoba oil, I like to use it on my hair when shower. It is the best best hair maintenance stuff. |

Mom2Busy2Boys, we have the same skin type. For my combo, reactive skin the neroli oil works well at hydrating. I usually don't use the oil under my Decleor moisturizer because I don't feel I need to (I switch to Hydra Floral Flower Nectar during the winter and find this hydrating enough). Like Rayna, I tend to use it at night and never during warmer seasons. I've never used jojoba oil, so I can't comment on it. |

ive used both. jojoba oil used to be good for me but then for some reason it started breaking me out- i only used the tiniest drop massaged into damp skin, too. neroli i do quite like, im acne prone and ylangylang was drying me out- neroli doesn't and it's good for winter. i use it once every couple of days and its a nice moisturizer. nothing wow, though. i'm not too big on the smell, but maybe that's because i liked the ylangylang scent so much more. |

Just a note for those who might not know, Decleor's Neroli Aromessence is a blend of oils not just neroli oil. If you want to use neroli oil, a good option would be Wyndmere's Neroli (3% in jojoba):
http://www.wyndmerenaturals.com/store/product.php?productid=73&cat=51&page=1
The key ingredients of Decleor Aromessences are as follows:
Decleor Neroli Aromessence (all skin types)
Key Ingredients: Essential Oils of Sandalwood, Neroli, Petit Grain, Sage, Parsley, and Juniper Berries.
Decleor Aromessence Ylang Ylang (oily skin)
Ingredients: Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Rosemary, St Thomas's bayleaf, and Hazelnut
Decleor Aromessence Angelique (dry skin)
Ingredients: Angelica, Camomille, Geranium, Avocado, Hazelnut, and Wheatgerm.
Decleor Aromessence Rose D'Orient (sensitive, reactive skin)
Key Ingredients: Essential Oils of Roman Camomile, Neroli, Damask Rose, Petit Grain, Blackcurrant Seed Oil.
Decleor Aromessence Iris (mature)
Ingredients: Orris concrete, jasmine absolute essential oils, manuka, lemongrass, geranium, camomile, neroli, rose, frankincense, lavender, plant oils: plum kernel, rosa rubiginosa, hazelnut, borage, wheat germ, palm tocopherols.
*****
I have dry skin and like both the neroli and angelique aromessences best. I've tried all the Decleor aromessences except the ylang ylang.
Ylang Ylang aromessence might be good for spot treatments if it is too drying on the whole face. I'd like to to try it for that. |

Wow, I went on holidays and 2 weeks without internet connection was killing me!! Glad to be back!!
Yeah I find that the oils did not make my skin feel more hydrated and sometimes it even made me break out.... I hate having sensitive skin.. I wanted so much to love the decleor line because of all the raves about it here on EDS and on Makeup Alley but I just don't think it is for me.... ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |
