Can I empty Vit E capsules into my sunflower oil to stabilize it so I don't have to refrigerate it? I want to use it as a pre-cleanse with my pear's soap as well as possibly adding it to some zinc cream for a moisturizer. Do you think this is an alright plan? |

sunflower oil goes rancid quickly (supposedly has a shelf life of 1 year) and i imagine if you keep it in the bathroom where the temperature fluctuates, its life is even shorter.
i know because my sunflower oil grew mold in it. if my memory is correct, sunflower oil already has a high vitamin e content. i would just decant some into a smaller bottle and refrigerate the rest.

Thanks for that! I got a dropper bottle ad filled it up, which is actually easier to use anyways! Thanks so much for the tip! |
