I would love to get my paws on a tube of Nars Orgasm Lip Gloss--- great color, great name, how can I go wrong?^-^ But, as you ladies know I can't use gloss with castor oil in it, argh! So.... does anyone know if the Nars glosses have CO in them or not? TIA!!!!!!!! |

Some of their lipgloss has castor oil (hydrgenated) but it depends on color.
This was based off of ingredients in a Nars lip gloss palette...and their lip therapy also has castor oil in it.
Still working on trying to find if Orgasm does... |

Found on here that their lip glosses do contain castor oil but I only found it for two of their colors. |

Wow, thanks Paris, you're awesome!!! Sounds like I should avoid the Nars glosses just to be safe... what a shame!!! <sigh> Luckily, there are some new Urban Decay glosses that have been calling my name...^-^ |

I have the Nars Orgasm lip gloss and it's a great colour and works for me, even though I usually prefer more berry/pink/red toned lips. Seems to be one of those weird colours that works on everyone.
Sorry, liz, i don't still have the gloss packaging so can't check for CO. |

The color I have is Metis and, unf., it does contain castor seed oil, which it also calls ricinus communis (another name to watch out for).
Sorry! If it helps any, it made my lip liner run anyway. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I just bought a NARS gloss (at my first Sephora trip, see other post ) and I'm not impressed. I got Chantaco, which is a lovely color. But there is NO staying power at all. It seems to disappear immediately. Right now I'm liking my L'Oreal infallible (in Barely Nude) a whole lot better. What am I missing? ![Crying or Very sad](images/smiles/cry.gif) |

I bought a lip gloss from Sephora by Hourglass in a shade called Imagine, I think it is similar to NARS Orgasm. Here are the ingredients:
Ocytldodecanol, Polybutene, Isocetyl Stearate, Ethyl Cellulose, Isostearyl Alcohol, Hydrogenated Dilinoleyl Alcohol, Frarance (Parfum), Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Silica May Contain: Mica (Ci 77019), Titanium Dioxide (C I 77891), Iron Oxides (Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499), Carmine (Ci 75470), Red 6 Lake (Ci 15850), Red 28 Lake (Ci 45410), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140).
It's a very nice gloss, feels good on the lips and it's not sticky. You might like it and you can buy it online. |

Thanks, I'll take a look.
Is there anyone out there who likes their NARS gloss??? I guess that's really what I want to know. And if you like it - do you apply it over something else? How long does it last (is it just that I have some hyper lip metabolism? ) |

Does it last a while for you, or does it disappear quickly? |

It is sticky and lacks staying power. Orgasm lipgloss doesn't work for me - too pale.
Now the Orgasm blush, that I cannot live without! |
