I am new to this DIY skincare serums, etc...
Sorry.
Just wanted to ask if anyone out there would care to share some suggestions/recipes?
I read through alot of the DIY recipes. Really helpful, but so much...kinda confusing for a newbie like moi!
I was wondering if I could concoct something for skin brightening/melasma/anti-aging?
I have used SkinCeuticals c/e + ferulic for a while but so pricey
Ok,this is what I bought:
1.Ascorbic acid (was I supposed to get L-Ascorbic instead?)
2.Koji Acid Dipalmitate
3.Ferulic Acid
4.Hyaluronic Acid
5.Tetrahydro-cucuminoids
6. Pumpkin peel ( that's separate,though)
I forgot to get the SKB...
Placing another order after I get some responses!!
I also got vitamin e capsules and have vodka around. I can get distilled water and glycerine at the store.
For now,can I mix the stuff into a basic skin cream until the SKB arrives?
So sorry for all the questions..just new to this!
I could do the kojic acid separately for lightening if it is just too much acid in one serum/cream..
Anyhow,I truly appreciate any help! |

I'm not an expert at formulating, but it seems like you could make some sort of water based serum from the products you bought. Also, ascorbic acid is the exact same thing as L-ascorbic acid. |
