Any postop veterans there have a favorite concealer than covers well and easy to remove? I'm looking for a palette-type with several shades to work with.
TIA

after my surgery I used Estee lauder Maximum Cover camouflage makeup. Its very good at coverage, you only need a VERY tiny bit ...slowly dot and feather on with a brush,it does not come off easily which is good if you are trying to hide bruises, but its a little difficult to get off. This makeup I believe was actually made for things like surgery. Its only $28 a tube....I have had it for 2 1/2 yrs and have only used maybe one fourth of the tube.

I would recommend one that makeupartists use. I like the corrector of Joe Blasco.

BEST thing to do is go to the health food store or better supplement store and purchase Traumeel cream to use topically..on the bruise. It is made by HEEL a German product line and will reduce your bruising in not time at all. Also get Arnica 30CH to take internally...its homeopathic and 100% safe, so no need to worry if you are taking any other meds..it will help to reduce infammation and reduce the bruise FAST>.

Bruising usually starts out purple, and ORANGE is the best color to cove blue/purple..when it turns yellow...I really dont know what is the best color...someting with a blue base???

Yes! I did use Arnica tablets and Traumeel tablets immediately postop and I can tell ya: it really DID reduce the bruising quite a lot! My surgeon was amazed (he said). Just a little bruising remains and is now fading rapidly. Thanks for reminding me!!

PS- for the yellow nasties that I have now - lavender eye shadow is the perfect camo!! Cancels it completely!

Of course, purple is the complementary color of yellow!! Good to know!! Traumeel cream is excellent to use topically. I keep a tube around in case I need it...although I rarely do..

Thru trial/error I found that Alima's G-2 MMU is the perfect ochre to neutralize purple, and Estee Lauder's PureColor e/s in Pale Moon is the perfect lavender to neutralize yellow. L'Oreal's Fresh Leaf green e/s is working to neutralize red for me.
Thanks for all your favorites!
