| I am starting obagi and I wondered what strengh of retin a works? .05%? Also, renova breaks me out should I get retin a or micro retin a? Thanks! |

All strengths of Retin work, but .05% is best if you have never used Retin A before.
Obagi NuDerm (and I *think* that is the Obagi line you are referring to) is typically used with the cream version. The Micro comes in a gel is VERY drying...combine that with all the other exfoliation going on, and it could be too much irritation.

| If you used retin A before, I think you can use 0.1%. I am using 0.1% now. |

You could start with a higher dose, but remember the Nu Derm will really make you flake/peel, and the .05 has been shown to be as effective as the higher strength, so there really isn't any need to start at the higher dose. |
