Hi - Has anyone tried the wrinkle wand. It is
a microcurrent wand that is to be used around the eyes for bags, puffiness and wrinkles.
The concept sounds good as microcurrent works with the muscles. I'm looking for a gadget
like the wrinklewand but also with an LED at the end which touches the eye area as well.
Has anyone used a gadget like this and if so,
where did you get it and is it effective for all the problems around the eyes!!
Anyone with experience?? Thx DiPhx

I have one which purchased direct from distributor in China. I tried few times but I could not feel any current at all. My co-worker checked for me and said the current was pretty strong.

I did not use it regularly to tell if it's doing something or not.

DiPhx:

The co-worker who checked my tool is in our R & D department. He knows all electrical stuffs. He had this equipment looks like a odometer with a pen thingy connected to it. He turned on my machine and used the pen thingy to touch it then the hand on the odometer moves. I really don't know what's the equipment called. I can ask him if you really want to know. HTH.

I'm going to take it out and try again tonight.

Hi MACrisis - Thank you so much for showing the GO5 Eye Care Product. It looks like microcurrent - is that what it is??
How did you pruchase it direcly from the
manufacturer? It looks as if yo have to be a supplier for these type of products. Can you give me clues as to how to purchase this and what the cost was?/ This looks more effective than the wrinkle wand. Thx again for your help - DiPhx

I know Hollywood Gadgets used to sell the Wrinkle Wand. They used to have a website and an outlet store on Ebay. The Ebay outlet says they are no longer a registered user:
http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=shophg
Did they go out of business?

The before and after pic for the Wrinkle Wand at this site looks good under the eyes:
http://www.secretsoflifeinc.com/brochure/
Of course, I know it's a promotional photo but if it does this, it would be great. My crow's feet are my biggest skin concern.

I sent a PM to MACrisis - hope it goes thru cause I'd like info on the eye device she has!!! and feedback on it.

I think I'll just answer the question here.

We have a branch office in China, about 2 hour driving from the distributor. Our branch manager bought it for me. I did a search on ebay today: http://cgi.ebay.com/eye-care-microcurrent-device-nib-gift-packing_W0QQitemZ220203860520QQihZ012QQcategoryZ36452QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem It's the same as mine except the color. It's much more expensive than what I paid for but shipping is free and you have 7 days to return.

It's a micro-current tool. As I mentioned earlier that I did not use it regularly or long enough to say if it worked or not. I used to use water or aloe vera gel but did not feel the current. Two nights ago I used SKB and the current was strong. But somehow, the right side of my face felt much more than the left side. It has 9 levels and treat 3 different layers: Epidermal, dermal, and the one under dermal (Sorry, do not know the English word).

It's a challange understand the manual. I have both English & Chinese but did not really understand them. No picture or instruction show you how to use it or do the treatment.

HTH.

MACrisis,

Is the eye device corded or does it use a battery? I can't tell from the description.

I know the Wrinkle Wand runs on a battery making it easy to use anywhere.

It's not battery operated. You have to plug it into a wall outlet.

Hi MACrisis - Thx so much for the info. It looks like a very interesting eye device and
much differnet from most of them! It's a little more than whatI can pay now since I just purchased the anti aging Lightstim.
This may have to wait for a while but thx so
much for the info. Please try it out and let us all know if it works -we're all looking for something to help around the eyes and haven't
found that miracle machine yet! DiPhx

Hi MACrisis,

I know someone in China who's "close" to the distributors. If you could be kind enough to give me the details, I would try to see if my friend can try to get me one...

a million thanks again!

daydreamingda: I'm sorry that I really don't know the details. I told my co-worker in the US if he could contact our branch manager in China to contact the distributor and buy few tools for me. 2 months later they shipped them to me. Sorry can't help.

DiPhx: As I mentioned before the instruction is not clear, it's really frustrated not knowing how to use it correctly. I'm using NuSkin Galvanic Spa System II 3 times a week now. And our Japanese Vendor bought me a Ion, Ultrasonic, & Microcurrent tool to try. My Japanese co-worker translated the instructions but need to do more research on how to use it.

Does anybody know if Ion (Negative, Positive) is generated by Galvanic? I tried to search on the net but no sucesses.

Hi MACrisis,

I used to have a NuSkin Galvanic purchased years ago, not your updated version. From what I can recall, I had the impression that it generates both positive and negative ion. Different charged ions for cleansing and nourishing modes. But I at the moment I am afraid I have no evidence of that! Razz

If I had recalled wrong, perhaps someone would chime in with more info soon. Otherwise, why not ask the manufacturer themselves?

Was, curious myself so did a little googling. Not specifically on Nuskin Galvanic device itself. But on Galvanic principles which NuSkin claims to be using in its device.

"This current is the same type produced by a flashlight or an auto battery. It differs from sine wave in that it has polarity-one pad is positive and the other pad is negative. Because of the polarity, galvanic current has a chemical effect on the body rather than a muscle-stimulating quality."

http://www.healing.org/only-24.html

"The galvanic current device, set to a negative polarity, works in conjunction with a positively charged cleansing solution to create a chemical reaction in the skin. This chemical reaction liquefies the impurities in the skin and creates a soapy substance that helps to unclog pores and dissolve excess oil and other debris on the skin."

http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/4/prweb375982.htm

"Galvanic current is used to create two significant reactions in esthetics: chemical (disincrustation) and ionic (iontophoresis)."

http://www.massage-tools.com/galvanic-facial-machine-current.html

http://www.environ.co.za/contents/articles/treating_damaged_skin.htm

HTH! Have fun with your machines!
