I was hoping that someone could give me some advise on Yonka products for oily skin, prone to outbreaks and blackheads but also quite sensitive. Have tried DDF, Decleor, Dermalogica, Sircuit Skin etc etc and have not yet found anything that's quite right. Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions? Thanks.

I'm also curios about Yonka, I see it raved about all the time. Could I use it in my Dr H routine?

Hi there, I also have acneic and oily skin and I SWEAR by Yonka.

Here's what I currently use:

Yonka Gel Nettoyant (if your skin is sensitive, you can use either of the other two Yonka Cleansing Cremes in lieu of the Gel). The gel is NOT drying and is a fabulous texture (not too sticky like most cleansing gels).

Yonka Lotion (toner)

Yonka Juvenil for acne -- this is my holy grail of skin treatment. You can do a search on this on this forum and see all the raves I've had about it. It will literally purge your skin of all impurities (so don't use it all over your face unless you are ready). It is a perfect spot treatment -- if you have a "bump" that isn't surfacing, apply some Juvenil on it and it will soon be "ready to pop" or it'll go away completely.

Yonka Emulsion Pure -- this is a pure concentrate version of the Yonka Lotion and you wet a gauze and apply it to any red spots for about 15 minutes and the redness disappears. This is also a FABULOUS miracle product that really diminishes redness and acne.

Yonka Masque -- used once a week. I mix in some Juvenil and Yonka Phyto 58 and apply it to my face and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

Yonka Creme PG and Yonka Creme 15 -- both for impure skin. PG is more moisturizing so I use it at night (otherwise, it's too "greasy" to use under make up). Creme 15 is also great to use but it is more of a "lotion" texture and not "cream" texture so it's not as greasy (good for oily skin). Depending on the environmental conditions you're in, you can just try one for now and see how it agrees with your skin.

I also am a new fan of the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Creme -- wonderful product for blackheads!!!!!!!

Hope this helps!

Eep! I hate to disagree with Chunlisa, (she is a Yonka goddess), however I found the gel VERY drying for my sensitive skin.

I also have problems with breakouts and blackheads (so annoying when your skin is sensitive to boot) but I've seen great results with the Nettoyant Cleansing Creme. It keeps my skin from getting too oily and having breakouts, while at the same time, isn't too drying and harsh on my sensitive skin.

All skin is different, so maybe you could get some samples first...

My skin (oily-dehydrated)tends to get really dry and sensitive from some acne-based products but i've found the yonka gel gorgeous on my skin. it doesn't leave it tight or squeeky like other cleansers have.

I've also tried the cleansing milk which is nice for when your skins a bit tight as its velvety on skin but i definantly prefer the gel nettoyant as far as cleansers go.

The lotion for dry skin is nice and refreshing.

Juvenil didn't work wonders for me but it didn't dry me up either which a lot of acne spot treatments to so that might also be good for you.

I use the Yonka Juvenil and since Ive been using it (maybe 3 weeks) I havent had so much as a pimple. Im also using the Creme 58 and the Creme 93 on top of Vivier vitamin c. to be honest I dont think I need a moisturiser, I dont have really dry or oily skin and I have found that just using the vitamin c is enough but since I ordered the Yonka I thought I'd use it and I havent had any problems with it at all. Theres so many different creams to work on different skins, it pays to do some research first.

I have combination, dehydrated skin that is prone to spots. I tried the Yonka Gel Nettoyant and it made my skin feel dry. However, this doesn't mean that it won't suit your skin, Rachael. My skin will not tolerate gel cleansers. After trying gel cleansers by Decleor, Dermalogica, Yonka (and others) they have all left my skin feeling dry. If your skin responds well to gel cleansers then the Yonka one may work well for you. As Chunlisa said, it is a lovely texture for a gel. Very light and watery. Not heavy and sticky like some other gel cleansers. Smile

Does anybody know of any websites that will ship YonKa products to Australia? There is no store near me that stocks them, and EDS is not authorised to ship them to here.
Would love to know, especiall if someone has already used a trusted site.

Thanks!

I enquired with them to find out about there products and they sent me samples, brochures and a pricelist, and the prices are only a few dollars more than EDS.Hope this helps you.
By the way i am loving the products they sent me.

Maddy, I'm in you neighbour New Zealand, I get my Yonka from EDS or Ebay. There are spas here that sell it too but i like to get my products at a better price so I buy from the net. Smile

It says they don't on the Yonka page, but for some reason(?) they in fact do. Smile
