I love the concept of this product and have been using it for a couple of weeks. However, it seems I can't quite get a good, even finish after applying it. I don't know if I'm using too much, not enough, rubbing too much or what. It doesn't ball up but it seems like I see white smears in some spots on my face. It makes me want to take a sponge to rub it in, even it out. I'm not sure if this even technically sinks in because of the zinc. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong and how I can get to a nicer, even finish before applying powder? Maybe a light moisturizer underneath to better prime the skin? Thanks. |

I haven't had any issues with it not going on smoothly, but I do layer this over top my serum and moisturizer. I find the primer doesn't give me any moisture on it's own and for me, I think it would feel too dry with nothing underneath (and hence probably not be as easy to apply). If you haven't been using a moisturizer underneath, maybe try that? |

I agree with Moonstar. I use this product after my moisturizer (mixed with a drop of Dremu oil) and have no issues with the primer absorbing into my skin. No white smears at all. I also mix in a pump of Dr. Hauschka's Bronzing Concentrate with it and get fabulous results. |
