Does anyone know anything about this product. It is said to increase your production of melanin by 133%. Now, knowing that melanin is a powerful anti-oxidant and great natural/chemical UV absorber and I'm going to Greece in September and will be getting a little bit of a tan (I know. I know ). Must be good to have extra melanin in your skin defending you. So I'm thinking of giving it a whirl.
The ingredient which does this is called Tanimel and is based on a natural root plant extract, Ononis spinosa.
I wonder how it stimulates more melanin production and whether this is harmful in any way.
Looking on the web I've found Onosis Spinosa is used by Chinese medicine for treating mainly the kidney.
Anyone tried it or know about it?
