Everything I use around my eyes give me milia. I have recently been using carrier and essentiall oils for moisturisers, and I have tried rosehip, apricot kernal, almond oil and grapeseed oil, none of which absorb into my skin. They seem to sit ontop and not absorb. I added shea butter to my moisturiser and that seemed to help absorbtion on my face, however I think it would be too thick to add to eye cream and so have avoided the eye area. instead I have been putting grapeseed oil around my eyes and after 15 minutes dabbing it off with a tissue as it doesn't seem to sink in no matter how long I leave it or how little I put on. I was using grapeseed oil as I read it was for oily skin and was easily absorbed, however I don't have overly oily skin and my eye area is particulary dry from not using eye creams often. Does anyone know of a lighter oil which may be suitable, as I have fine lines already (in my 20's) and I really need something to moisturise them.
