 Yes, it's true. I, Casper's Mum, the bestower of Friday gift certificates, need for all of you to say a prayer, keep your fingers crossed, and send positive energy my way tomorrow morning. Time: 6 a.m. (Pacific/Vancouver, Canada) until about noon.
One of my favorite groups since childhood, VAN HALEN is coming to Vancouver on Saturday, October 23rd. This is the weekend before my 30th birthday, and I am DYING to see them  (Casper's Mum needs to "Jump"  , literally)
The radio station that is sponsoring the show has been giving away a set of tickets, rows four through one, the past few mornings. I know the answers (immediately) to the questions, and I can never get through. Meanwhile, others get through, and have WRONG answers. This morning, I didn't have my phone with me at home (it was here), and couldn't even try to call to win 2nd-row seats  Tomorrow morning, it's Row ONE. I want these tickets!!!! I deserve these tickets!
Otherwise, they go on-sale at 10:00 am tomorrow at Ticketmaster, while I am working. Will have to figure something out, and am willing to pay a lot, and go without food, for amazing seats.
Think of me. Send me good luck. I want to see this group!! I NEED to see this group, and have been losing sleep all week, since the concert was announced!! |

why not buy tickets at ticketmaster.ca ?? I'm sure the boss will let you use the internet for personal reasons for just a minute!

I can finally get a good night's rest, as I have now got my Van Halen tickets. Though I didn't win the Row-1 seats from the radio station this morning, I did land some when tix went on-sale at 10:00 a.m.
Try as I might, I wasn't able to get as close as I wanted to. I have two tickets on the floor, row 29. I don't even want to tell you what they cost! |

Ooooh, I am so envious, Casper's Mum! Van Halen is my all-time favorite, and I've never seen one of their concerts. 
Row 29 sounds pretty darn good to me...I'd even take row 129 just to be there!!! David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar-- it's all good!

VAN HALEN....WOW!! Another hippy chick!!!!
They were one of my fav groups, I've seen them so many times....I'm so jealous!!!
You'll have to let me know how good the concert went!!!
