I am a loyal Etsy fan, its a great website which they sell everything: made by hand usually by single or house moms. Great stuff, they ship international at decent rates, and most importantly, you are supporting artisan unique workmanship. I bought jewelry and wall decals from there. Check out Etsy, they will surely have something for you!
ps: if you also make things, you can also sell them on there : ) |

Thanks for the tip, Sangria. That's a really great site and quite a range.
I've bookmarked it ....and will probably spend far too much time browsing it... |

I know, in fact I have stopped shopping period and just shop from that store. I ordered these BEAUTIFUL real orchid jewelry...from Hanami. Also they have really cool wall decals, I bought the red geckos and they look so cute!
We ought to list good sellers on this thread, since they do have sooooo much stuff. |

Cool, thanks for the tip! I believe they were featured in Daily Candy recently? Maybe I'm wrong, but they sound familiar for some reason. |

Ok, I'm just going to admit it--- I have become SO addicted to etsy recently. There is just so much cool stuff, I actually have to force myself to stay away, otherwise I'll just happily shop the day away, lol! Why don't we start a collection of links here with our favorite etsy shops--- that way we can find more cool stuff with less effort.^-^ Here are some of my recent faves:

This shop sells gift-worthy, frame-worthy needlepoint cards for less than the cost of generic store bought cards. I bought some easter bunny cards from here and I am just in love with them!! The artist is really nice too and does very affordable custom orders.
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5513972
I got a whole bunch of Easter cards from this store. They offer a discount if you order 4 or more, and the cards are made using this really heavy, luxurious card stock--- I was really impressed! When I saw how nice they were, I actually regret not ordering more. I think my family members are going to be so thrilled to get these in the mail.

The food-themed jewelry in this shop is so cute!
I'll keep updating when I find some more interesting shops! |

'Kay, this is my Etsy contribution, but it's definitely a lot stranger than what you guys have posted. Bear with me!
My boyfriend and I fell in love with these incredibly weird and whimsical and kind of creepy stuffed animals by a company called Perfect Children, and I tracked them down on Etsy and had a couple custom made for him for our first Christmas together. They're kind of scary, but we love them.
The creator, Mark, called the first one "Zebra Dalmatian", and I'm betting you can see why:
I forget what he called the other one, but we call it "Freaver", as in "Freak Beaver". This one also came with a "Detachable baby" that you can't see in the pictures. (It's essentially a furry ball with googly eyes and a pin on the back so you can pin it to its parent.)
I just love how totally weird and funny these things are -- the guy sews them all by hand, and I think he mostly makes them out of recycled stuffed animals. They're really well-made, too! They include a funny description/"bio" of each animal on the site that just shows how whimsical and creative the guy is. And he's an organic farmer by day. Gotta love it! (Or hate it -- a lot of our friends are kind of afraid of our freak stuffed animals, but we adore them.)
Anyway. Go Etsy! |

Yay, another Etsy fan!! Although I'm going to be totally frank with you Ginnielizz--- those stuffed animals kinda give me the willies, LOL! However, I'm glad that you mentioned stuffed animals because I'm now convinced that Etsy is THE place to buy plush toys. I have a lot of friends/relatives these days who are either about to have babies, just had babies, or have young children, and I love finding cute plush toys to give as gifts. I have seen a TON of stuffed animals/dolls on Etsy that are not only cute and unique, they are made from organic fabrics and dyes etc which makes them perfect gives for babies.
Also, I collect cute bunny plush toys (I'm sure you all are totally surprised, right? LOL!) and I just found a total gem for my collection:

PS:
Is anyone else DYING for one of these scarves? They are really shockingly expensive, but I'm just captivated by them--- they look soooo gorgeous and high-fashion to me.

I think they will go beautifully with my "Food Pyramid shirt" |

Yeahyeah, I've been eyeing those too! Please let us know how you like them! There are surprisingly a lot of yummy-looking goodies on etsy. I haven't taken the plunge and ordered any yet, but I've been drooling over these vegan twinkies:

I'm also interested in these vegan wings:

And of course, this gourmet popcorn which gets rave reviews:

Hahaha I'm not surprised, and I assure you that you ain't the only one. My best friend is terrified of them! I don't think I ever even realized Etsy had food items, too. So much to shop for there! |

I'm proud to serve!^-^
The lady who makes these makes all of her stuff from homemade seitan, which she says is more flavorful than the store-bought kind. Needless to say, I can't wait to see for myself! |

No probs..will let you know once I receive them!
Those popcorn look yummy but think the shipping would be quit expensive to the UK and even though they say that they use special bags or something to keep the popcorn fresh, I'm a bit wary of that. If you're gonna try them Liz, please let me know |

You girls are very brave to order food online - I would be too chicken to do that.
Please give us a review when you do receive them. |
