Hello All,
This is my first post to this Forum; I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now. I've mostly been interested in following the DIY threads. I really appreciate the overall spirit of helpfulness that everyone exhibits.
Last week I had several wonderful spa treatments and the estheticians used Pevonia products. One of the ingredients was a plant derived active called Escutox TM that has a botox-like effect. It is reported to take 3-4 weeks to have a measurable effect, however there is clinical evidence to support the claim that it diminishes wrinkles.
I am pretty natural in my approach to living and skin care so, while I would not consider Botox injections, especially with all of the negative press, I would definitely use a topical plant product.
Has anyone used products with Escutox TM or Hibiscus Esculentus Extract? What is your opinion?
TIA for your opinions. |

I am hoping to hear from any of you that have used any skincare products that have Escutox TM or Hibuscus Esculentus extract. If you have had favorable results, I'd be interested in knowing how long it took before you saw a visible difference.
Once again, TIA for your input.

I recently received a small 10 ml bottle of Kosmea Eighth Natural Wonder Serum, which contains the hibiscus extract you mentioned -
Ingredients:
Water (aqua), rosa eglentaria (rose hip) seed oil, pisum sativum (pea) extract oleth-3, xanthan gum, hydrolyzed hibiscus esculentus extract, dextrin, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), aniba rosaeodora (rosewood) wood oil, pelargonium graveolens (rose geranium) flower oil, camellia sinensis (green tea), oleth-10, citrus grandis (grapefuit) seed extract, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, sodium citrate, citric acid, potassium sorbate, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, benzyl benzoate, d limonene, citral.
Have only used it for about 5 to 6 days, so can’t comment on long term “face freezing” results, but it does feel very nice going on and I like the way my skin looks after application, nice kind of “glow” but not greasy/shiny. Basically, I’m liking it a lot and will probably buy the full size. |

I love Kosmea's Eigth Natural Wonder but had no idea about the effects of this particular ingredient. I have used quite a lot of this product from time to time and just thought it was an excellent product for the price as it makes the skin very firm and healthy. |
