That is an awesome idea for a product! Especially since my biggest problem with mascaras is that they dry out before I even get to use them that much.

I saw the Sephora email and was ecstatic!
I recently had a mascara craze and bought 3 Drugstore brand waterproof mascaras which are all disappointments:
* Maybelline Full & Soft
* Loreal Voluminous
* Max Factor 2000 calorie
I liked how my lashes looked with Maybelline's best but it smudged the most compared to the rest. It actually smudged way more easier than my non-waterproof mascaras. Strange.
The Sephora set is a great way to try out the higher end ones without breaking the bank!
Anyone knows if I can get it at the stores?
Thanks! |

I suppose the concept is great, if you really use that much product. Mine would go to waste, because I could not possible use up that much mascara before it dried up. |

You could not open them all at once. Open one, and unless you really hate it, use it up. Then open the next one, and so on. |

Oohhh......Liz.....how cool is that?!!! I am a mascara JUNKIE, baby!!!! I love that Sephora did this. I am so sick of trying full sized mascaras only to end up ditching them when I fall out of love with them.
Okay, skipping off to order....

It looks very cute packaging.
The idea is great, however, often the brushes are different on the smaller sized items than full sized ones. The brush is really important when applying mascara. |

That’s exactly what I was thinking, as I really prefer a thin straight brush, can't use those fat ones. (I think my eyes are too small and deep set) Still from looking at the pic, the brushes appear to be mini versions of the full size ... all different shapes.
Don’t know why I’m bothered though, as Sephora don’t ship international. Why is that? |

I believe that Sephora will ship internationally through the freight forward company Access USA (www.myus.com). At least Sephora is among the companies that are listed on their website under "shopping".
People outside the US can buy a monthly or yearly membership from Access USA and get access to a wide range of US companies that won't ship to individuals overseas.
But of course, one should buy more than a sample package of mascaras to justify the expense of an Access USA membership. Just thought I would mention anyway. |

My package arrived, what fun!! I decided to start with the mascara I was the most interested in, and then when that was used up move on to another one that I'm interested in. By just using them one at a time I can try to kepe the others from going bad. (BTW, I started with Smashbox Bionic and I'm really enjoying it!) FYI, I was in Sephora yesterday and I saw they are selling these sets there too if anyone is interested. |
