I did a search and didn't find where this had been discussed. I know there are lots of salons where you can have your body wrapped. I went a few times years ago, and it's pretty expensive. I felt thinner, and their measurements indicated I had lost several inches, temporarily; it's also supposed to detox the body. I've been reading about DIY body wraps using clays, essential oils, salts, and herbs, and I was just wondering if, somewhere among all those wonderful recipes there might be some for body wraps. Anybody have any good or bad reviews for body wraps? Anyone doing your own wraps? It would be pretty messy, but I think I would rather do it in private than to have a stranger do it for me.

Hi, jellytot. Thanks for responding. I saw some mention of sauna suits, but some of them say you can just cover up with blankets. Did you mix your own wrapping solution, or did it come in a kit?

I did this two weeks ago. (I'm a sucker for anything once!) I lost 18 inches my first visit. The down side...it was 150$$$. Shock

So...I ordered some off e-bay. Its almost impossible to get the tight wrap you need by yourself. I really don't think it works as well...so I'm waiting til the salon runs a special. I'm sold on it...it helped my cellulite tremendously...and this lady's got
cellulite. My husband didn't kno..Easn't about to tell him my big spend, shame on me Crying or Very sad , but he made a comment the next day about how great my legs are looking...plus ladies at work were complimenting my weight loss...I didn't lose a pound!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I know this is very popular in Hong Kong and you can really target the problem areas. However, I have no luck here in the U.S. Any suggestions?

This is where I got mine...no I'm not trying to sell anything but I have heard these are the best and I'm a believer. I did the power wrap.
