My name is Maria. I assist my clients in gathering interested parties to meet together, either in person or via tele/video conference, to discuss ideas and feelings about current patient education tools such as brochures, websites, and articles, and brainstorm new ways in which to create more useful patient education tools and resources on a given pharmaceutical product.
In this case, we are representing a large, well-known pharmaceutical company in the US, who has a facial rejuvenation product on the market. We have researched many forums and found that there is a lot of discussion on these types of products; however, there are many areas that require education, such as product attributes, time to notice change (product effectiveness), other expectations, side effects, locating trained doctors for proper administration, and after-care.
We are hoping to gain interest in participation from some of you. Our goal, as with other products that we have successfully worked on, is to gather enough interest to hold a roundtable discussion group in a central location, where participants can voice their concerns, opinions, and expectations to help create useful educational materials that will be developed by the pharmaceutical company. Participants will meet (expenses paid for by the pharmaceutical company) and have the ear of the pharmaceutical manufacturer. They will have the opportunity to be heard by and influence the company to create materials that they feel are needed and useful. They will also meet peers from other forums.
