Hi,
I am in my early thirties and I have started to have wrinkles around my eyes because the area is dry and delicate. (I have huge dark circles around my eyes since childehood )
I can not use very heavy products since they cause whiteheads around my eyes.
Could you maybe suggest a good eye moisturizer?
Thank you very much for your help! |

If you have a problem with whiteheads around the eye areas, than don't use a cream there. OR find the lightest one you can find. |

Hi, canodero.
There are quite a few good reviews on Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue that is designed to treat dark circles and fine lines in the eye area. You can read reviews and comments on it here:

I am liking the Revision Teamine eye cream, it is to early to tell how it works with eye lines but it is lightly moisturising and has not caused any milia for me,it is also good for dark circles, but maybe try some samples first...
I asked EDS to include some eye cream samples with my last order and they sent me a heap of them so it may be worth asking with your next order so you can try a few out first. |

Thank you very much for your answers..I was thinking about trying PTR eye cream, but then I became afraid of the ingredient that somebody said may lead to liver cancer..
I think I will be looking for a creme for a long time.. |

Canodero, have you looked at Osea's eyes and lips treatment? I use this mostly on my lips (and LOVE it!), but when my eye area gets dry I use it there too. It is really fabulous--- it's intensely moisturizing and the ingredients are natural. HTH! |

It's the skin lightening agent kojic acid, but the research is controversial. I would not be too worried about applying tiny amounts of the cream around my eyes.
I think I would be more reluctant to use the skin lightening agent hydroquinone (as used in the Obagi system). Animal studies of very high doses indicated that hydroquinone might have the potential to cause cancer. But again, one does not know the relevance of this research when small amounts are applied topically on human skin.
Quote:
Finally, some controversial research has raised the issue of carcinogenicity of kojic acid. A special cancer susceptible strain of mice developed liver tumors when fed large amounts of kojic acid for 26-weeks. The relevance of topical use in humans, if any, remains unclear.
