I've been using this for about a month. I bought this on EDS and it was due to the fact that it is a physical sunscreen since it has both Titanium Dioxide 2.5% and Zinc Oxide 6%.
My impression:
It goes on pretty smoothly despite the grainy texture like it got tiny grits of sands in it. It does not feel oily and my skin does not look shiny.
The color is lavendar, so it is tinted and doesn't leave white cast on your skin. It leaves a rosy hue instead, so you must be careful with your clothes. It WILL STAIN your clothes. My hat has this stain on the inside where it touches my forehead.
It does not sting my eyes, and I put it very close to lash lines.
Sun protection is debatable. I apply this in the morning. I go take a long one hour walk at lunch wearing a wide brim hat. I often notice color around my eyes and cheeck bones afterwards. Perhaps it must be reapplied right before going for a walk in full sun. I will try that this afternoon and let you know.
The price is not too bad. It's about $30.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm going to give it 6 for now. |
