OK...question for the 45 and up crowd. I am not heavy..in fact pretty thin except I have noticed since I approached the 45 and up group I have a belly! Something I have never had. I've heard this happens when you "reach that age" but I am wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of it. I don't think exercise is the answer. I am 5ft tall and weigh under 100 lbs so I know I am not overweight, it is just this annoying little belly! Anyone out there have any suggestions?????? |

Try something called the bar method. I had 4 hernia surgeries and it felt like they gutted my stomach muscles i started using that and i do notice a difference. The teacher is a bit older as well I think late 50's. They are very small movements and they dont seem hard when your doing them but my god do you feel it. Look in youtube they will give you examples of some of the exercises |

I'm in that category and I'm 36! I was always wiry and thin and suddenly have a slight paunch appearing. It's not a beer belly !
I'd read through the Callanetics thread, the stomach exercises are great apparently. http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=12555&highlight=callanetics
I must admit that I wondered if I was in the right "positions" when I tried it, as your posture is very important. |

I'm still trying to figure out where the paunch came from...I will look into these exercises. I was hoping there was a magic pill that would just remove it! |

Estrogen dominance is a major reason for these appearing as we age. My gyno just wrote a book on it:

Spend 30 min on treadmills everyday and you will see the effect after a month. That happened to me.
Also, how's your bowel movement? |

Well, if you a looking for a quick fix..I take CLA Tonalin capsules which is an essenial fatty acid from Sunflower oil and it is aimed at belly fat
I also read an article calleed "The Flat Belly Diet" and they suggsest their secret Sassy water to rid bloating which is:
1 L filtered water
1 cumcumber sliced
2 TBSP sliced ginger
1 lemon, sliced
You let it sit in the fridge over nite and sip the next day.
It does work as ginger is great for all digestive health.
Also watch refined carbs, sugar white, flour and alcohol which goes straight to the "paunch"! |

My suggestion would be exercise, exercise, and exercise.
Eating healthy (lots of vegetable and greens) and CONSISTENT daily exercise on your abs (and also your overall body muscles) will give you permanent and beautiful results.
The tricky is really consistency. You can do 1000 one day but if you don't do it every day, you are not going to get any results. Give yourself at least 6-8 weeks of consistent exercise before you expect any results (it takes that long to see changes made by your body).
Good luck. |

Whatever you do, things go much faster and better after a few cleanses like liver, kidney and bowel cleanses.
When these vital organs aren't working properly you tend to store fat much easier as your body can't break down cholesterol |

There are special clinics where cleansing is done under medical supervision, they also use special equipment. Recently I got a package in such a clinic, and currently undergoing a cleansing course in this clinic. |

Cleansing should be done in a particualr order. For example parasite cleansing should be done first.
Products used for cleansing differ in quality. I found that DrClarkia has good quality products. Namely Dr Clarkia extract Black Walnut Green Hull, Cloves & Wormwood http://drclarkia.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1
Other products I tried for parasite cleansing can not even compare to this one. |
