I'm looking for oils in a container w/ a roller ball applicator for my lips. I use the L2K system, but the clear NG is $20. I like to have several in different spots, so if I could find something at the d/s, WF, Sephora that'd be best. Anything with waxes are a big no-no.

You can check out Aquafina hydrating lip oil ($3.99 at Walgreens) with vitamin E, sweet almond and jojoba oil. It has got very good reviews here.

I don't know whether you can use shea butter on your lips. I mix up small batches of shea butter and avocado oil, and add some drops of peppermint or spearmint essential oils. You get a cheap, creamy, all-natural, non-waxy lip balm with a creamy consistency and a fresh taste. The avocado oil enhances the pink color of your lips. I love this DIY version.

Thanks for the tip on Aquaphor.

Your DIY concoction sounds terrific. What do you put it in?

I found some small amber glass jars with screw cap on the drugstore. They were originally designed for keeping tablets.

I put some shea butter in the jar, add sufficient oil to achieve a creamy consistency, and stir the paste with a pin.

A new batch of lip balm should be made every 3rd to 5th week to ensure it's always fresh. Smile

I recently bought a large tub of shea butter and wasn’t sure what to do with it. Tonight finally got around to copying septembergirl’s idea, with a slight variation - used the shea butter and added kukui oil, avocado oil and a bit of peppermint EO

I melted/liquified the shea butter in the microwave first to make it easier to mix with the oils. Yeah, I know, it’s probably better not to heat it like that, but I’m lazy ...

I’m very very happy with my new lip balm. Thanks for the tip, septembergirl.

Hi, Is shea butter considered a wax?

I am not sure if this is the place to ask this. Maybe should have its own headline.

Does anyone know what is in L2K, to make your own lip serum and stuff?
