I am 19 years old with combination skin. When I was younger, I had dry, eczema prone skin, and as I'm getting older, i find that my t-zone is becoming uncontrollably oily. My nose has always been a problem - blackhead after blackhead, and anything I do does not help to relieve or remove them. I've always been more into makeup products than skin, so i don't know much about skincare... but makeup doesn't look the same unless you have the base cleared!
I was just curious to know which products you would absolutely reccommend for clean, clear skin! |

I have used many many skincare products, but I beleive the one which has kept my late forties skin relatively wrinkle free is retin a!! |

Yep I agree with zizi- retinols help to shrink the pores and lessen the blackheads as well as normalizing the skin. And an added bonus is that if you start now when you are young & fresh, and wear sunscreen faithfully, you will still look fab at 80! Hope this helps! |

Just a little note of caution here. I know that juvenil works really well for some people but not for everyone. For me it either did nothing or made a pimple worse |

Honey! Honey's definitely my miracle product. I love my honey masks.
Besides honey, juice beauty blemish clearing serum is great for acne- it's effective yet gentle. I use it on my chest and back but it is a face product so it's supposed to be used on the face.
When you I want to spot treat a pimple, I like the PSF acne mud masque. I also like the zinc ointment that I have. |

Just bumping to see if anybody found a new *miracle* product since August...
Please share what it is, and why you love it..
Here's mine, and it's the same old stuff..
- Microfiber cloths rule for me..
- LED's have turned out to be even more than I anticipated.. Love them! (I have plumper thicker skin now than I ever did before, and I'm sure it's the *new* collagen.. And yes, it was that way before I added Retin-A or Viterol.)
- Viterol A Face ... It gives me skin turnover like when I was 30...
- Juice Beauty ... Simple and effective, and a great base for formulating with.
- Alpha Hydroxy Souffle ... Nothing breaks up the dead sh-t as thoroughly and gently for me.. Love it!
- Vitamin C Serum ... Homemade, and ever changing, which keeps my skin the most responsive.
- Avocado, Rose Hip + Squalane Oils ... I love these because of their simple yet nourishing qualities.... For me, it's about pure, worker bee, nourishing ingredients that work, and don't load my skin up with crappola, disquised as a fancy new and exciting ingredient .. ! (The ridiculously affordable price or these oils, is just the icing on the cake for moi')
- LouLou's Ageless If You Dare Facial Exercise program; http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?tid=31539 ...... I find it to be quick, concise, thorough and effective, and it blows away the other 3 programs I have tried and failed at, for one reason or another..
Those are my tried and true miracle products up until now.. (I've only did the Ageless routine twice, and have seen and felt the result..I'm very shocked by that really, and really hesitated to even share it so soon, but that is my true feeling, at this very early stage.)
Sorry to not have anything exotic to share with y'all .. |

Peace & Hugs to all.♥ |

La Roche-Posay Effaclar AI is a great spot treatment for an occasional impending pimple. I dab it on at bedtime and in the morning it's flat and nearly gone. It doesn't dry the surrounding skin like some prescription creams (Azelex) can. |

I have the same problem and have been using a lot of products with no avail until I've started using Sothys Purfying range with the Active Cream and it has improved my skin. I can't say that it looks like face model's skin but it's a great improvement from what it used to be. It is not very cheap but it's not one of the most expensive ones either. I would recommend it to anyone to try. I guess it will also depend on how your skin reacts to it. I have found all Sothy's products to be very mild which is good because my skin is quite sensitive and Sothy's has never irritated it in any way. |

when i had acne, the Paula's Choice 2% bha really helped.
a lot of people with acne make the mistake of over-drying their skin with harsh cleansers and toners - i would take care to avoid this.
also, there was a product from le roche posay (can't recall the name) that i think was BP/BHA and it worked on the odd pimple very. very well. |

Anything from NaturDerm, Nikki... the Epidermx II would be wonderful for you. It has made such a difference for me, it is my all time favorite product hands down. It makes everything else work so much better. I use to have blackheads all over, oily skin, you name it. My skin stays nice and firm, tight if I use the Chrysalyx, which I love, my face just glows, people ask me all the time what I use. EDS carries them. You might like the Triple Lavender Face Foam, yes, it is as luscious as it sounds and it lasts forever! |

I hate my skin on benzoyl peroxide! My mother swears that is what caused her premature aging and sure enough that is what they are saying.
Enter--Buzz on Acne. This is my HG. Changed my skin from oily to normal, all my red marks left quickly, cysts gone fast while all the time it hydrates the skin and they tout its anti-aging benefits. I love this stuff! |
