Hi every guy. I have learned that most of the cosmetics avaiable in the market contain synthetic chemical which is harmful to the health. Is there anyone who can tell me that whether there is a way to make the home-made and effective cosmetics for skin care? Many thanks |

You will find lots of recipes for home made creams and remedies on EDS' DIY forum. |

You can use the following for great masks + nourishment for your skin, depending on your skin type of course.
-Juice of lemon, lime, grapes, tomatoes
-Yogurt, milk (lactic acid in this will help exfoliate)
-Honey
-Cold pressed or extra virgin oils including; avocado, grapeseed, olive. (Many others are available as well.)
To make an 'absolute' cosmetic cream, some manner of preservative is needed and usually an emulsifier. Adding Vitamin E oil will offer some protection, but I would suggest refrigeration. For emusifying water and oil combinations I would suggest you just bite the chemical bullet, and use just enough of a ready made cream to get the job done.
Some helpful information can be found in this thread;

I seem to talk a lot about lemons and milk on this forum. It brightens dull skin. Honey is also a must. Honey is great for problem skin just like lemon mixed with milk.
I also use chick pea flour, milk, tumeric and lemon juice and zest. I mix it all together to make a paste. I put it on my face like a mask and leave it on until it dries. This really does wonders for my skin. South Asians use this natural remedy, it really does help.
Oh man I almost forgot using the peels of fruits and vegetables to help improve the skin. Orange peels are great. Carrot pulp makes a great mask. All great method to brighten lifeless skin. |

I once read that the best body scrub is course brown sugar and water! Just take a handful of sugar into the shower, mix in your palm and buff away! |
