I don't know if it was the EDS forum or another, but I saw something about people giving themselves Botox and Restylane. Any ideas? Thank you!!! |

I know of two people who do, but they are both licensed injectors and work at my med/spa. They said it's hard to even do on someone else at first until you have been trained and attended classes, and performed quite a few. They do their own now but in limited amounts and with topicals. I would not try it at home as it's painful w/o the numbing creams and I find it's really hard to hurt myself that badly without squeezing my eyes shut! (Dermaroller not included). |

Yikes is right. I think there should be a good knowledge of anatomy, facial structure, ect to really know what you you're doing. MHO, some things are best left to the pros. |

I'll get my sister-in-law to do it. She's an RN. |

Then you are lucky, but do make sure she knows how deep to inject and in what muscles as it it a very precise procedure. Resty can be lumpy so you have to know how to massage it to keep it from lumping up and not to massage too hard and bruise. Good luck and let us know how it goes. |

Thank you to all the fellow beauty fanatics out there! I've had Resty and Botox by the best in Beverly Hills but am married to a Marine and now live in MS. I have to wait to see my sister-in-law again, so it may be a while I need some now!!!!
I have enjoyed reading the posts on here for about 2 years. Really great tips! Thanks so much! |

What a great sister-in-law to have too! I need one like that, think of all the money I could save. And a shout of thanks to your hubby, I appreciate all of our guys and gals in the military and I don't think they hear it enough. |
