I've been using Marini Lash for six or seven weeks now as my first foray into a lash growth product and couldn't be happier.
The instructions say, "Apply once per day in the evening to the upper lash line. Keep in mind that only a small amount of product is necessary for each application, so please use sparingly." I have been trying to use it every single day but, honestly, I have forgotten to use it at least once or twice a week and many times, I have used it in the morning instead of the evening. I've also been applying it to both the upper and lower lash lines.
That said, there has been no eye irritation, no skin irritation, no burning, no darkening of the skin along the application path, no mad lash shedding (yet anyways! ) or bald spots and no lashes growing in at weird angles or places. The worst I can say is that I had three or four lashes temporarily grow much longer than the others. My lashes have always naturally curled upwards (or downwards for the lower lashes) on their own and thankfully they are continuing to grow in that way, all pointing in the right directions. I'd describe the look as longer lashes that are a bit thicker and more fringey versus lashes that appear long but spindly, if you know what I mean.
My lashes are dark near the lash lines but quite light near the ends so it's difficult for me to say whether or not they are growing in darker. I'd say not, but I guess time will tell there.
Unless something changes by the time I get to the end of my tube, which I don't anticipate, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Thank you very much for your review, havana8. Would you say that your lashes are significantly longer after six-seven weeks of use? |

Hi SG, It depends what you mean when you say "significant"! They certainly haven't doubled in length but comparing the length of one lash measured before starting ML with one measured today, the growth at 6-7 weeks has been approximately 4-5mm which is not terrible considering my well-intentioned but less than dedicated use. |

Agreed. That is a significant growth in my vocabulary. |

Thank you very much for your review havana8, my girlfriend and I are both doing research on the lash products now available, and US Vogue magazine this month talked about it too. The only thing holds us back is the health safety concerns, as the magazine pointed out that this type of products often cause skin irritation, and even damages to the eyes. Glad to hear that you didn't experience anything like that. Now it's officially on my wish list. |

Thanks for your reviw. I've used quite a few of the eyelash enhancing serums now, and after I've finished my tube of Enormous Lash I'll be trying the new Marini Lash. |

I have used quite a few lash serums as well and LiLash definitely gave me the lashes of my dreams! It did however cause my eyelids to look pink so when my tube was used up I tried Marini Lash. However, after about 6 weeks of use my lashes started to shed really badly so I went back to LL. This time my eyelids haven't turned pink and my lashes are starting to sprout and grow in again. I've only been using LL for just over 3 weeks and first time around it took a good 6-8 weeks before my lashes really grew long and thick. |
